      Sleep in a Capsule!

      May 19, 2018

I had good 3 days off in Kuala Lumpur recently. To be honest, I didn't have much plan (packed plan) to do in KL, just my aims were to wave my parents off in KLIA2, to meet my friends and to join the KL International Book Fair.

For the first night there, I decided to try a hipster place to stay. And ruling few lists down, I finally decided to try this one hotel - Space Hotel. It is located in Chinatown, which is in between LRT Masjid Jamek and LRT Pasar Seni. So, from location wise, this place is in good area with many people around.

So, let me share with you how the hotel looks like and how the facilities provided there for the ideas.

The hotel is located on upper floor of the building. Once you enter the hotel, you can obviously see this logo. Let me tell you, when I was here, the lift was not functioning, so I think it would be hard for elderly if they want to stay here. Just, so far that I could see, most of the customers there are foreigners and younger people.

Since the receptionist located on the 3rd floor, you can use this slide to get down to the second floor in less than few seconds :)

      Lobby.

I booked a capsule for mine via Booking.com. It was about RM43 +- per night for 8 capsules female room. You can get a cheaper price if you don't mind a mixed room, in which a night will only cost you RM38 +-. Prepare a deposit of RM50 as well.

After settling the payment, the receptionist showed me the room and how to use the capsule. He was really welcoming and always with his warm smile. :) The hallway of the hotel looked like in the picture above.

The room with 8 capsules. Actually, each capsule is provided with a locker outside of the room but it can only fit cabin-sized luggage. So, that's the main reason why you can see the luggage in the room.

Once I open the door of my capsule, the bed looked like this. Comfy, right? I felt like I want to jump in and sleep right away. Huuuu.

The table provided and it can be removed from the wall.

Safety box is provided as well, in case you want to put your valuable items like wallet etc.

They provide 2 pillows which were totally comfy for my stay!

The view when lying down. On the left side is an Android television (?). I am not sure how to use it but I was unable to connect to any tv channels. But, no worries as the television can be connected to the Internet - so, we can still enjoy watching YouTube videos or any videos online! :D Amazing!

      Lockers outside the room.

Decorations of wall at the pathways.

Access card for room and capsule. This card is also important to switch on our capsule - the aircond, the lights, the screen.

      Clean bathroom and toilets.

The shower with at least 3 water outputs. Water heaters are provided - just adjust the showers.

      I love dry toilets!

You can use the iron for free and you can also wash the cloths with the machines provided (you need to pay for the washing machine)

All in all, this kind of place is a new thing for me and I am sure for most of us as well, right? Go and try it! Get a night off there and share your experience :) There are few of them around Malaysia and the one that I tried is located in Chinatown.

Self Reflection - Kim Jong Kook in Malaysia

      June 25, 2013

This article is not mine. But, I guess I would like to share it here. Well, I know many of Korean or KPop fans are bloggers too. :)

I can't say it is wrong to be a fan. I am not a Mufti or anyone to make any fatwa. And my words are not a fatwa. People have different point of views and I have mine. It is just that I need to ask you to reflect your point of views by reading this article. Maybe you will have something in mind later. Peace :)

Sources :- Qistina Abdul Malik's FB. She is a fan too, tell you!

      ---------------------------------------------------

[Moderation & Modesty : A friendly message from a fan to another fan]

      If i have Kim Jong Kook's (KJK) phone number, i would gather up my faith, call him, try not to shriek when i hear his awesome mosquito voice (hehe) and tell him ;

"Bro you have to stop coming here. I don't know if you noticed, but I saw lots of my muslim sisters crushed their faith, pride and modesty down to pieces upon seeing you. Yelling their throats out and jumping their hearts out upon seeing you.

Or at least, please, just don't let them touch you. It bleeds my heart to see another sister just freely touching and holding your hands.

This is not really your fault, I am just explaining why i think that your presence here will do more harm than good to my fellow sisters."

I was watching the pictures from KJK's recent visit to Malaysia, and nothing hurts a sister more than seeing another sister shutting off her sense of modesty upon seeing him. How many were shouting like crazy? How many were trying to touch his abs? How many were trying to shake his hands? Really? Do we really have no sense of modesty and shame? Have we forgotten what our parents and teachers told us? What our religion taught us?

( "..If you have no shame, then do whatever you wish" )

How many went without their parents permission? How many lied to their parents to come? And..how many missed their prayers? How many forgot to pray? How many didn't even bother about their prayers?

This is not a bias statement. I am not saying this to make his fans mad neither do i hate him. I totally admire and respect his good traits, but i'm putting this from a muslim fan's point of view. A celebrity might be super cool and we might admire them to the highest extent possible, but, our belief and principle should always come first. We are always a muslim first; a muslim doctor, a muslim fan, a muslim singer, etc. The principles of Islam should always come first. Always.

I've been a fan of KJK since his XMan days. Whether as a singer or a performer or a comedian, i think the dude's great. His determination can be quite motivating. But as someone who wouldnt know if i can control myself on seeing him in real life, i prefer KJK staying inside the laptop as he had always been doing for the past few years. No shaking hand, no coming close, no skinship, no crazy yelling, just KJK inside the laptop. Just that.

I wouldnt go around running after a celebrity, thats not how i roll.

I just don't think its fair that our other sisters in syria are fighting their rapists and oppressors, while here we are in malaysia, some fighting among our own, to see who can get a better picture of KJK, or who can get closest to him. Some in other parts of the world are fighting to stand for their right and pride as a muslim women, while some of us here are flushing off our own pride down the drain for KJK. Its.Totally.Unfair.

So here's a request to all muslim fans of KJK who went to the showcase, who yelled, who shook hands, who missed their prayers, and everything else, please, let us, together, REFLECT ON OUR ACTIONS. Are our actions befitting of our muslim names and responsibilities?

Lasty, It'll be a dream come true if i see KJK asking a fan, are you a muslim? And if she said yes, then he says, "ok let's keep our distance then. Don't come too close okay?"
      Daebak !

*no offense to the one in the picture, i made sure no faces were shown. This is to remind, not to humiliate anyone.

No offense. No hate. Peace out Papitus!

(Please share if it does any good to any fans.)

      ---------------------------------------------------

Well, good writing, right? I had my self-reflection and I guess sometime, we need to moderate our behaviors. Yeap, I know you just can't resist him. But, we can remind ourselves by thinking of the rewards Allah will give us later by controlling our nafs? :)

      Spread the love <3

I know the feeling of being a fan. I was a fan. Maybe still a fan. KJK is a shy, talented, hardworking, dedicated man who I know from the screen.  I never met him in real life, maybe I will go overexcited, but please pray that I will not.

And maybe you can also pray so that I feel nothing on him too :)

      Suka Duka KL-Dubai

      September 20, 2012

      Sungguh kenangan seumur hidup.

Selesai check in luggage nak dekat pukul 6 petang. Terima kasih kakak Emirates, bagi lepas jugak luggage walaupun dah terlebih berat. 32.2kg. Belum masuk cabin luggage. Beg roda dah nak 15kg, backpack pun mahunya 10kg. Gagah perkasa sungguh rasanya. Hee, padahal pelajar lain pun biasa macam tu. Lumrah. :p

Sempat makan2 ayam KFC untuk terakhirnya hingga ketemu tahun hadapan. Nak 6.15petang, dah ada "calling for flight EK" bla bla bla. Alahai, sekejap je lagi masa nak melepaskan rindu kat keluarga, 6.30 dah boarding. Risau jugak kalau terlepas flight. Nak lepas security check, naik aerotrain bla bla kalau tersesat mana2, tak ke naya tu. Ye la, travel seorang, haruslah get prepared for the worst.

Flight sepatutnya take off pukul 7.30. Haihh. Bukanlah tahap gaduh2 tumbuk2 tu. Ada satu group ni marah bila seat yg dia kata dia punya tu dah ada orang lain duduk. Bila check boarding pass, terbukti lah orang yang tengah duduk sekarang tu memang seat dia. Group tu pulak takde boarding pass. Saya tak faham sangatlah kisah dia macam mana, tapi end up group tu duduk berpecah la, seorang sana, seorang sini. Kecoh betul masa tu, delay jugak sekejap. :p

Everything was fine masa sampai Dubai. Serius gegas ke kaunter passport control sebab takmahu sejarah berulang kembali. Haha. Memang cepat jugaklah saya lepas keluar. Alhamdulillah.

Check in for the next flight to Prague.
Then, the bad scenario in my life began T__T

Aduhai, pelik sungguh airport2 kat dunia ni berbeza rules. Kat Malaysia lepas je, kat Dubai sangkut pulak. Fine. Itu rules diorang.

Adegan yang tak pernah saya bayangkan seumur hidup berlaku. Pergh. Tak pernah begging orang sebegitu rupa sekali. With lots of people around watching me begging to the custom officers to let me go WITH my bulbs. Pegawai kastam tu tak berani nak lepaskan, then dia pergi tanya kat polis yang bertugas. T__T

Erkk. Bila fikir balik, mentol je pun T__T

Alhamdulillah, pegawai kastam tu baik hati jugak, takde ambil terus. Dia suruh bincang dengan polis tu. Beg-beg semua dah tinggalkan kat kastam. Redha. Discussion sekali lagi bertukar menjadi sesi begging diiringi air mata. Sila bayangkan betapa payahnya nak jumpa mentol putih kat Czech tu ha sampai sekarang tak jumpa2. Semua stok ala2 suram hidup segan mati takmahu.

Silap sendiri mungkin sebab tak ambil tahu rules kat airport orang. Silap sendiri jugak letak mentol dalam cabin luggage.

Oh, begging dengan polis tak berjaya. Hampa tu memang emmm. Haihhh.

Heee. Nak ditutup rasa sayang.

      Jumpa lagi! :)
